He has one club (the SW) that's from the Vr line. Is that what you saw? In the few instances I was able to see with shots from the fairway or tee, they weren't Vr irons.

David, you can see in his bag on tv that his irons aren't the victory reds, and it was talked about a while ago that he went back to his old set of forged blades. I couldn't see what you were trying to point out in that picture.

Yeah, that 12 tournament "normal" schedule is demanding... I'm sure he was tired from playing venues he hasn't been to in a while. What's he up to now? Is he at his 12 tourney max? That isn't good, because the FedEx Cup is coming up... he'll probably be EXHAUSTED after the Barclay's!

Tiger was tired yesterday, back to back to back tournaments after month's layoff...he hasn't lost his touch. He was tired. (I am a Tiger fan, bar none.) However, with a tired tiger, having Y.E. Yang win is just a great story...I am very happy for him. This is a tough sport. Glad for Y.E., and I know Tiger has alot of majors in him. He will keep winning, no doubt. He was a pooped Tiger yesterday is all.

for the last 2 weeks, golf.com has posted Tiger's bag with the Nike forged blades, when in fact he's been using the Victory Red for at least 2 weeks. His putter has always had the Ping grip.

He's been using one of the ping grips for most of his carreer. He blacks out the letters though, so you can't see it unless it's a closeup shot.
In promo-pics you'll usually see him with a cameron grip, also blacked out letters.

I've always wondered about the ping grip as well, but lately I'm more interested in the fact that he's not playing his Victory Reds that "he helped design."

well, newport 2 is a copy of ping anser, so if you think of it that way, it's not that strange for tiger to have a ping grip.

I was just coming here to post about the PING grip; humorous.
