Bag of the Day: Geoff Ogilvy

The final bag in the Bag of the Day series features the equipment used by the 2006 U.S. Open winner. Geoff Ogilvy, who is also the defending champion at the SBS Championship (last year it was the Mercedes Championship), it will competing for the first time as a Titleist staff professional. Ogilvy, who also won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship last year, had previously endorsed Cobra, Titleist's sister brand in the Acushnet family.


Here is a list of the clubs that Ogilvy is expected to have in his bag when he tees off at Kapalua:
DRIVER: Titleist 909 D3 (9.5°) with an Alidila RIP 80X shaft
FAIRWAYS: Cobra S9-1 (15°, 20°)  with Fujikura Sapphire X shafts
IRONS: Titleist MB (3-9) with Royal Precision FCM 7.3 shafts
WEDGES: Titleist Vokey Design (50°), Spin Milled C-C (55°, 60°) with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts
PUTTER: Scotty Cameron for Titleist Newport prototype
BALL: Titleist Pro V1
