Odyssey, the company that makes putters for both Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els, is set to release its next generation of tour-inspired flat sticks, the black series to her design family of putters.

Each of the four models in the Black Series Tour Design family is milled from 1025 carbon steel and features a tungsten weight flange behind the face. They hear thing dampening layer works to soften the feel and impact.

In a release, Austie Rollinson, principal designer for Odyssey Golf, said, "In creating the Black Series Tour Designs putters, we consulted with some of the greatest players in the game, including Phil Mickelson."

Weights in the heel and the toe area of the Black Series Tour Design putters allow Odyssey to adjust the swing weight of the putters based on the club's length. The 35" putter weighs 340 grams, while the 33" and 34" models weigh 350 grams total.

You can see and hear Rollinson explain more about the new putters in the video below:

Each of the new Odyssey Black series tour Design putters will retail for $269.
