Already boasting an impressive array of staff players, including Phil Mickelson, Gary Woodland, Jim Furyk, and Nicolas Colsaerts, among others, Callaway Golf announced the addition of Henrik Stenson, Harris English and Matteo Manassero for 2014.
Stenson, who had a massive year in 2013 that included winning the Race to Dubai, the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup, played Callaway irons and fairway woods en route to pocketing over $15 million. His formal agreement with Callaway should see him play an even wider variety of the company's gear going forward.
"After having the best season of my career to date in 2013 using Callaway irons and fairway woods, the option of extending my relationship with Callaway Golf was a very natural progression, and I look forward to continued success in 2014 being back as part of the Callaway family." -- Henrik Stenson
24-year-old Harris English enjoyed a breakout season in 2013 with two Tour wins including the FedEx St. Jude Classic and the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. A former four-time All-American at the University of Georgia, English will play a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey gear this season.
"I've been really happy with the new Callaway clubs. And the team at Callaway has been fantastic. In a short period of time I've been able to take advantage of the resources they have and I'm excited about the start of the 2014 season." -- Harris English
Matteo Manassero, the youngest addition to the Callaway team already has four European Tour wins at the ripe old age of 20, including the '13 BMW Championship. Manassero first made his presence known as a teenage amateur in the '09 Open Championship at Turnberry, where he tied for 13th.
