Fantasy Picks for the Canadian Open
A-Players
Luke Donald: With so many Europeans winning on the PGA Tour this year, it's hard to believe the sweet-swinging Donald hasn't captured a title. He did win the Madrid Masters on the European Tour, and Donald has four top 10s on the PGA Tour.
Charlie Wi: Might be a good idea this week to have a few players on roster who weren't in St. Andrews last week. Wi should be well-rested, and he's coming off top-25 finishes in his last three starts.
B-Players
Retief Goosen: The Goose is quietly moving back up the world rankings list. Despite no wins this season, he does have seven top-six finishes.
Fred Couples: Just because he's on the Champions Tour doesn't mean Freddie still can't play with the young guns. He finished sixth at the Masters and T14 in Phoenix, and he's already won more than $1.3 million on the 50+ circuit.
Sean O'Hair: With the exception of three missed cuts, O'Hair has finished in the top 30 in every event he's entered since March, including a T7 last week at St. Andrews.
Camilo Villegas: He started off hot this season with a win at the Honda Classic, but Villegas has cooled off since. However, he does have a solid record at the Canadian Open: three top-25 finishes in his last three starts.
C-Players
Ricky Barnes: With six top 10s already this season, Barnes is easily having his best year on Tour. He tied for 44th at the British, but he played a lot better than the result. Barnes was undone by a final-round 77.
Brandt Snedeker: He's almost made as much as he did in 2009, and Snedeker has finished in the top 10 in both starts at the Canadian Open.
