The importance of the buddy trip

Edwindm3103_228x724There are some folks out there who might joke that nothing is more important than a golf trip with their buddies. Then there’s Edwin Harman, who clearly believes it.

According to The Daily Mail, Harman, 72, was mid-putt in southern Portugal when he found out that his house in Kent, England had been hit by a plane. At first, Harman believed that the plane had only clipped his roof, but after the round he learned that the Cessna ploughed through his home, killing all five people on board.

Although his wife was shaken by the incident, the former insurance executive has his priorities straight. After completing yet another round, Harman summed up the situation, “I'm told there's not much left. But I'm trying not to let it spoil my holiday."
