Jordan buys property near Tiger
Michael Jordan has bought a new home in Jupiter, Fla., not far from the $40-plus-million island compound planned by is pal Tiger Woods on Jupiter Island, according to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel.
Bull & Bear LLC, a company managed by retired NBA great Michael Jordan, has purchased two lots in an exclusive development called The Bear's Club for a combined $4.8 million, Palm Beach County records show.
Jordan is the person Woods is most often compared to -- as both an iconic athlete and a corporate pitchman -- and the two have long been friends. Their private matches are legendary for trash-talking, and fans followed a pro-am match between the two last year In Charlotte, N.C., like it was a major.
The one person who might not like the news is Tiger's wife, Elin. While Woods's public image is that of a hard-working family man, the post-NBA, recently divorced Jordan has a well-publicized appetite for cigars, late-night card games and high-stakes gambling. He's also making the most of the single life, according to The Palm Beach Post.
I'm told Jordan, who couldn't be reached for comment, is patronizing strip bars much less these days. Doesn't mean he isn't dating. He showed up at a Miami Beach function two weeks ago with blond twins, one on each arm.
Oh, if I could be like Mike!

Tiger would be wise to stay as far away from Jordan as possible.

I think Tiger considers Jordan an on the field role model, but not off the field. Jordan is probably doing the same stuff single he did married. I would be semi-surprised if Tiger took up Jordan's lifestyle.

To whom much is given, much is required...they deserve to do what ever they wish as long as it is not against the law.
