Anna Rawson the newest GoDaddy girl

Posted at 2:54 PM by Anne Szeker | Categories: Anna Rawson

Annarawsongodaddy GoDaddy.com, a web domain registration service sometimes in the news for its racy commercials (think Danica Patrick in the shower during the Super Bowl), announced that the LPGA's Anna Rawson is the company's newest spokeswoman. Rawson joins current spokespeople Patrick, poker player Vanessa Rousso and model Candice Michelle.

Rawson, who also models, made headlines in February when, in a radio interview to promote the LPGA, she said, "[Fans] still think we're at 25 years ago when the tour was full of, you know, a lot of dykes and unattractive females nobody wanted to watch." Ouch. She later apologized.

And in case you've been wondering what the Aussie has been up to, she's blogging on GoDaddy.com. In the first installment she talks about modeling during L.A. fashion week for David Alexander and eating Korean kimchi tacos at the Alibi Room after the show.

Rawson is teeing it up at this week's J Golf Phoenix LPGA International, where she'll play in the pro-am with GoDaddy.com's CEO and founder Bob Parsons and rocker Alice Cooper.

There's one big dfference there Rick, and that difference is Anna Rawson is a hot female and Fuzzy and Ben Wright are not. It's the just the way of the world, pretty girls get the breaks that no man or average looking woman is going to get. Don't like it? Me either, but that's just the way it is (unless we start making them wear burqkas and head coverings LOL) Just kidding on that last part but still...

Wait just a minute...Fuzzy Zeoller and Ben Wright get thrown under the bus, their reputations tarnished if not destroyed (Ben gets fired) for making comments not meant to hurt, defame or or insult anyone...but Anna Rawson can make a derrogatory, insulting remark about the players in her own organization and all she has to do is appologize and all is well?!!
A little slap on the hand and "bad, bad girl (tongue in cheek, of course) and now is the poster girl for the LPGA as a model for GO DADDY!
Talk about a double standard...I think an apology needs to be given to Ben Wright and Fuzzy Zoeller by all the professional golf associations!

Regards, Rick Garner

25 years ago: Brains, but no looks. Now, looks, but no brains.

I like eating tacos at the fashion show too.

I bet Anna likes them kimchi tacos huh?
