Tiger Woods looks forward to 'many years' of playing against Anthony Kim

Posted at 11:22 AM by Mike Walker | Categories: Tiger Woods

It looked like you went up and said something to Anthony [Kim] as you were walking down 18. Can you tell us briefly what it was?
TIGER WOODS: I just said that I enjoyed it, and there will be many more to come. Just keep working hard, and we'll do this for many more years.

I think Tiger had these rivalries in mind...

Anyone who is married knows...the only cookie to break Tiger is Elin. :)

Come on, AK is far from push over. He held it pretty good out there even with band-aid swing that he had on Sunday. He was not timid with his driver, he was not timid with his putts, some even too aggressive, he bombs his tee shots, not using 3 or 5 woods. He lived up to his words, standing up to Tiger.

Tigers rival is Charlie Woods... :)

Tiger's only rival is Tiger. When he is on, the rest are playing for second. Federer's 15th GS Title will motivate Tiger for the British.

No one else has Tiger's desire to win.

No one has Tiger's desire to win. That's the difference. Until someone develops that desire, Tiger will dominate.

If both Anthony Kim & Rory Mcilroy keep polishing their skill, few years down the road, both of them might be Tiger's rival on Sunday showdown. But then, not so sure if these two young guns have Tiger's mind power. I am a big fan of Tiger, but do believe Rory & AK will shine bright in the very near future.

Yes, this is pretty funny. I guess it highlights the challenges that these guys have trying to write with Tiger Woods out there. How do you write an article that doesn't sound like hero worship yet at the same time avoids inventing "rivals"?

Rory anyone??

haha, that was pretty good

True rival to Tiger is not even in the junior circut yet
