Vijay Singh drops Stanford logos at AT&T National

Posted at 2:27 PM by Ryan Reiterman | Categories: Allen Stanford , AT&T National , Vijay Singh

Vijay Singh has been spotted at this week's AT&T National without the logos of Stanford Financial, according to CNBC's Darren Rovell.

Singh had been wearing the logos on his shirt and visor as recently as last week at the Travelers Championship despite the accusations that Allen Stanford ran an $8 billion ponzi scheme. Stanford has pleaded not guilty to a 21-count indictment.

Last week, Singh made headlines when he offered to help pay Stanford's bond, but federal rules would not allow it since Singh is not a U.S. citizen.

First you criticize him for being loyal, and then you criticize him for being disloyal. And do we really need bad ethnic idiom?

Wait a minute!! Wasn't Vijay ready to post bail??? No he's dropping logos....after all...the Veegmaster told us Stanford hasn't been convicted of anything...Oh wait..I get it!!! Veej now might lose a few bucks and get some MORE bad pub..right..he's gutless!!

AHHHHHHHH, it's a gleat day fro Amelica evelybody!

are you guys having a very bad day...that you are all taking it on vijay...watch u'r language danny the dumbo...are you all feeling good now....

He should have dropped the logo when Stanford was indicted. It's a little late, but knowing VJ, he'll cave to any pressure. He's got to be one of the more unpopular guy on the tour. I'm sorry for him.

VJ, your PR stunt to imply that he's wrongly accused just like you were is an idiotic metaphor at best. Pick a better metaphor next time, moron. Or perhaps, donate that bail money to charities since you were gonna throw that away anyway.

Not getting yo money back huh vj. Welcome to the party pal.
