Michelle Wie will play LPGA opener in Thailand
Michelle Wie will play in the LPGA's season-kickoff event, the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand, on Feb. 18-21, according to The Golf Channel. Wie will also play the next weekend at the LPGA tournament in Singapore.
Some of the LPGA's biggest names will join Wie in Thailand, including Lorena Ochoa, Cristie Kerr, Paula Creamer, Se Ri Pak and Jiyai Shin.
Wie
will have to take time off from her studies at Stanford to play in the
tournaments. She told CNN International that she plans to finish her
degree in five years.
