Greg Norman and Chris Evert quietly ended their brief celebrity marriage in Florida last month, according to The Palm Beach Post. The two totally-80s sports icons were married in June 2008, after knowing each other for almost 30 years, and for their honeymoon Norman made an improbable run at the 2008 British Open at Birkdale, eventually finishing T3.

“The bonds of marriage between . . . Greg Norman and . . . Chris Evert, are dissolved because the marriage is irretrievably broken, and the parties are restored to the status of being single,” the divorce decree reads.

A source familiar with the inner workings of the Monroe County legal system said there was no exchange of money between Norman and Evert. What each brought financially to the marriage, each took back.

The torn lovebirds first made news together in October 2006 when they filed for divorce from their respective spouses—Norman from former flight attendant [Laura] Andrassy, and Evert from former Olympic skier Andy Mill—and started appearing together at private parties.

The financial terms of this divorce are much more advantageous to Norman than the dissolution of his first marriage, in which he reportedly paid Andrassy a settlement of $103 million.
