Truth & Rumors: After surgery, Sergio Garcia eyes late season surge
Sergio Garcia has his sights set on a late-season run. And, less than a month removed from eye surgery, it's clearer than ever.
Garcia, who hasn't played since Europe's Ryder Cup win, underwent surgery to correct an astigmatism, according to a Reuters report. Here's what Sergio had to say:
"I had the surgery but everything went very well," Garcia said in a news release on Monday.
"I will have three tournaments towards the end of the year. I hope I can play good, finish on a high note and get ready for next year."
The first of those tournaments starts on Nov. 22, when Garcia will head to Dubai for the European Tour Championship. After than, it's off to Asia to wrap the year with two more events.
