Report: Rory McIlroy closes on $9.5 million Florida mansion

Posted at 5:14 PM by Golf.com | Categories: Rory McIlroy

Looks like Christmas came early for Rory McIlroy.

The World No. 1 has closed on a $9.5 million mansion in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., according to Jeff Lichtenstein, a real estate agent in Palm Beach County who writes a blog on transactions and listings in the area.

Among the features in the 15,286 square-foot home are six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a private gym, and, of course, there's a putting green. The modern home is also just down the road from the Bear's Club.

The only person happier than McIlroy? The seller. The house was built for $7 million, according to Lichtenstein.

Check out some aerial photos below (McIlroy's house is the white home in the middle of the photo below), and there are more photos on Lichtenstein's blog.
