A set of golf clubs belonging to President Gerald Ford, who came in at No. 6 on our list of top 10 presidential golfers, sold for $26,000 at auction on Tuesday.

The money from the clubs -- just one of 50 items donated by the late president's family that raised a total of $132,000 -- will go towards a new student learning center at his presidential museum in Grand Rapids, according to a Detroit Free Press report.

The clubs were sold in a bag inscribed with Ford's name and two American flags, as well as the presidential seal.
