VIDEO: Thomas Bjorn destroys $80,000 ESPN camera at Muirfield

When Thomas Bjorn hit his tee shot way left on the first hole at Muirfield Thursday, he may have thought it would cost him a shot or two ... but not $80,000.

With his second shot, Bjorn tried to hack out of the deep fescue, but the ball veered left and nailed an ESPN camera, destroying the pricey lense.

ESPN's Rick Reilly tweeted the following photo of the destruction:
