Video: Tiger falls to his knees in pain after shot

Posted at 9:42 PM by Pete Madden | Categories: Barclays, Tiger Woods

On the par 5 13th at the Barclays, Tiger Woods hooked his approach shot into the water and fell to his knees, obviously in pain. As the announcers wondered whether he would be able to continue and complete his round, Tiger got up and walked up the fairway to take his drop.

Woods complained of a stiff neck and back earlier this week after Wednesday's pro-am, blaming his discomfort on a soft hotel bed.

Asked whether he would be able to play next week at the Deutsche Bank Championship, an event managed by the Tiger Woods Foundation, Woods said "That's a hypothetical right now. I just got off and I'm not feeling my best right now.
