Video: Phil Mickelson skips shot over water hazard

Posted at 10:28 PM by Mike Walker | Categories: 2013 Presidents Cup, Phil Mickelson, Presidents Cup

Phil Mickelson is the master of the recovery shot, but his second shot on 14 looked tricky even by his standard. Mickelson was in the right rough, on a steep slope, with a tree blocking his shot to the green and a water hazard fronting the green. Mickelson tried a miracle shot that hit the tree but got a miracle bounce, somehow skipping across the water. See the video above.

Mickelson, however, lost the hole and eventually the match 1-up to Angel Cabrera. But as usual with Mickelson, it was never boring.
