Wear in the World: And the Winner Is...

Posted at 4:37 PM by Kevin Cunningham

After 50 days traveling around the world spreading the adidas Golf name, the Wear in the World Ultimate Job Interview Challenge arrived back in the United States.

The final stop on the world tour was Bandon, Orgeon, home of four of the best golf courses in the United States: Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails and the brand-new Old Macdonald.

Chris and Steve arrived at Bandon thankful to be back home but anxious to find out which one of them would win the challenge and become the newest adidas Golf employee. First, though, the guys had to play a few rounds of golf on some of the greatest courses in the world.

'Wear in the World' invades Canada

Posted at 2:48 PM by Kevin Cunningham

The Wear in the World challenge made its way to Canada for the final stop before finishing the contest in Oregon. The whole group was feeling the jet lag from the flight from Asia, but happy to be back on North American soil.

Chris and Steve started the trip touring the Olympic village in Whistler before heading to the nearby city of Vancouver. The pair then made their way to Tobiano Golf Club just outside Kamloops, Canada, where they played around on the scenic lakeside course there.

After the round, Steve decided to put his Adidas Golf apparel through an extreme test by riding a Sea-Doo on the Kamloops Lake right next to the course.

'Wear in the World' stops off in Japan

Posted at 5:02 PM by Kevin Cunningham

This week, the Wear in the World crew traveled to Japan for their final stop before returning to North America. The group's travels have led them to exciting golf destinations all over the world, but their recent visit to the golf-loving nation of Japan may have been the most entertaining to date.

During the trip, Chris and Steve had the honor of playing a round with Japanese LPGA Tour Pro and national celebrity Riko Higashio at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba Course.

While golf was the main focus, the guys also participated in some non-golf adventures including sumo wrestling and paragliding near Mount Fuji! You can check out Chris's paragliding video below.

'Wear in the World' travels to South Korea

Posted at 4:49 PM by Kevin Cunningham

Upon landing in South Korea, Chris and Steve were shocked to discover that their luggage (including their clubs!) had not made the trip from Thailand with them! But a few misplaced items were not going to stop these two golf fanatics.

The competition continued as the guys created fan videos showing how excited the Jeju locals were about the Wear in the World challenge. Who gets your vote?

Chris and Steve were then tasked with finding a local to play a round with at Elysian Country Club. Steve searched and searched unsuccessfully for a playing partner, until he hopped into a cab to the course. His driver, Yang (who had never swung a club before in his life), agreed to join him for 18. Watch Yang take the first golf swing of his life, below!

'Wear in the World' ventures to Thailand

Posted at 12:45 PM by Kevin Cunningham

From Dubai, Chris and Steve traveled to Thailand for the next of their competitive trip around the world.

While you may not expect golf to be big in Thailand, the game is flourishing. The boys started their trip at the Chiang Mai Highlands Golf Course - and it wasn't exactly your normal round. Chris and Steve rode elephants to the first tee, where the elephants handed them their drivers!

The guys also played a round at Alpine Golf Resort, where they were followed by a media entourage including Golf Channel Thailand.

'Wear in the World' visits Dubai

Posted at 4:47 PM by Golf.com

This week Chris and Steve are in Dubai, where their competition for a job at Adidas is heating up and ... cooling down?

Everyone knows Dubai is in the middle of the desert, but it also boasts a mall with a full-sized ski hill. There's also a tubing run, and after seeing some of the sites around the city, including the world's tallest building, the guys hit the slopes with five points on the line. Who came out on top? Check out the footage.

The guys also got a chance to hit the "browns" (not greens) shortly after arriving.

'Wear in the World' in Scotland for Open week

Posted at 4:27 PM by Kevin Cunningham

Chris and Steve arrived in Scotland just in time for the Open Championship at St. Andrews. While the guys were lucky enough to tour the Old Course, talk to the pros and sample the local fare, the trip to Scotland wasn't all fun and games.

Adidas challenged them to shoot, edit and produce 30-second promotional videos about adidas Golf apparel while staying in the home of golf.

Check out their videos below and decide for yourself which is the best.

The guys also took a trip to the turn of the twentieth century at nearby Kingarrock Golf Course, where they played a round with hickory clubs, an 1898 golf ball and 1920's-era attire. Watch below as Steve tees off on the ninth hole.

Chris and Steve got a chance to play the latest (or would is be the earliest?) rounds of their lives as their competition for a job at Adidas arrived in Norway this week. The youngs guns were on the course at midnight in Tromso, Norway.

To celebrate his 24th birthday in style, Steve hit a shot right as the clock struck midnight. Now that's a happy birthday.

Later the guys participated in a speed golf contest.

Chris and Steve are nearly finished with the first leg on their trip, seven days in Germany. They played two courses in Germany, Herzogenaurach Golf Club, near the Adidas world headquarters, and Golfclub Munchen Eichenried, home of the BMW International Open.

The next stop on their journey? Norway. There they'll play at the Tromso Golf Course, the world’s northern-most golf course, and Stavanger Golf Club.

Want to see what kind of game these guys have? While in Munich, the boys took some videos of their swings.
